Frank’s travel experience is geographically vast and spans the spectrum of adventure including many surf trips in Central America; climbing, surfing, and snowboarding in South America; scuba diving in Southeast Asia; helicopter skiing in Alaska; whitewater kayaking in New Zealand; and multiple excursions throughout the U.S.

Trail runner, mountain biker, and yoga master. From island hopping the Dalmatia Coast and British Virgin Islands, to trekking thru Colombia to Ciudad Perdida, to sailing down the Rio Dulce in Guatemala, to snowshoeing above the Arctic Circle in Sweden, her list of travel adventures is lengthy.

Trail runner, mountain biker, and Mountaineer. In 2017 Justin summited the highest 100 peaks in Colorado completely self-supported and self-powered, summitting the peaks on foot and traveling in between each climb by bike only.
Writer, educator, wilderness athlete, musician. Ian he teaches music and environmental writing and is the founder and director of NYA’s Kauffmann Program for Environmental Writing and Wilderness Exploration. He has led trips to Vietnam, Thailand, Japan, China, Costa Rica, and Ireland. Individually, he has been part of multi-week expeditions in places like Alaska’s Arctic Brooks Range and the Peruvian Amazon. As an ultrarunner, he has run all over North America and on four continents.
